Welcome to Haxey Tennis Club
We have been in existence for well over 30 years now. Over the past few years the club has improved its facilities and now boasts one of the best playing surfaces in the area. Recently with the addition of floodlighting this has helped the club extend the playing season. There is a clubhouse with a small kitchen facility and an area where all notices and club information is displayed.
Our aim is to encourage the game of tennis in the local community as a way of enjoying exercise and fitness, fun and socially get to meet people in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We have a mixed membership of around 75 which is made up of adults, juniors and families.
For those who are interested in more competitive tennis the club competes in the Gainsborough and District Evening Tennis Leagues and also the North Kelsey Weekend Leagues.
There is a coaching programme for both adults and children of all age groups and these generally start in April and run for 10 weeks.
There are also a number of social events that are organised throughout the year these are notified to members.
